The 5th Annual Great American Distillers Festival

The 5th Annual Great American Distillers Festival is a gathering of small distilleries from across the country who come to Oregon, the Mecca of craft distilling, to share their products, their passion, and their expertise in handcrafting spirits. The event will be held this October at the Bossanova Ballroom in Portland, OR.

Craft distillers – from as close as right around the corner to as far away as Freeport, Maine—bring their best vodkas, rums, gins, whiskies, brandies and other spirits for two days of sampling, seminars and informal interaction.

Oregon’s most talented bartenders will be using a selection of the festival’s craft spirits in the 3rd Annual Mixmaster Mixology Contest sponsored by the Oregon Bartenders Guild, Rogue Spirits and Imbibe Magazine.

Other festival events will include spirits seminars, Live Wire! Radio show, and a special guest appearance and Keynote address by Bill Owens, author and President of the American Distilling Institute.

The festivities run all week with an opening reception and breakfast at the Rogue Distillery & Public House, a tasting of barley-based whiskies and beer and two nights of cocktail events pairing participating distillers with local bartenders.
Sponsors for the 5th Annual Great American Distillers Festival include: Glassco, Imbibe Magazine, Portland Tribune, and the Portland Development Commission. Festival partners include the Oregon Bartenders Guild and the Oregon Distillers Guild.

Ticket prices are $10.00 for a one day pass, which includes three tasting tickets, and $16.00 for a two-day pass and six tasting tickets
