Celebrate Spring at The RAM with a Mai Bock Brew Available Wednesday, April 15th!

The RAM Restaurant and Brewery is celebrating the arrival of spring with the release of their Mai Bock Beer. The arrival of spring is heralded by the return of the Goat-MAIBOCK! Debate continues as to the origins of the name… Was it after the town of Einbeck in Germany or a variation on the German work (and recognized symbol of the style) the Goat? Regardless, the name has come to signify one of their most popular seasonal selections. The lager is fermented cold and patiently aged (lagered) at near freezing temperatures to achieve a smooth and immensely satisfying profile. Crisp, clean and golden in color, the Maibock is brewed in the esteemed German Helles style. Over the years they've been fortunate to receive numerous awards for their brewers’ interpretations of the style:

North American Beer Awards: World Beer Cup: Colorado State Fair Indiana State Fair
Gold 2006 1998 Bronze 2004 Gold 2007 Silver
Silver 2007 2002 Silver
Bronze 2008
