It’s time again for the best of the region’s beers to go head-to-head in the 2nd annual Beer Brawl from February 25th - March 1st at Concordia Ale House in Portland, during which loyal patrons and beer lovers determine the winner.
Here’s how it works: Captains representing Oregon, Washington and California select four beers from their home states in the IPA, stout, pale ale, and open categories. This year’s captains include former Beer Brawl champ Sean Loring from Lazy Boy Brewing in Everett, Washington; Ken O’Connor from Deschutes Brewing in Portland, Oregon; and Richard Norgrove from Bear Republic Brewing Company in Healdsburg, California.
Come in and purchase a taster tray ($12 for 12 three-ounce sampler glasses, or $25 with a commemorative t-shirt), then vote for your favorites in a blind taste test.
