Chuckanut Brewery Takes Gold and Silver Awards

Chuckanut Brewery in Bellingham, WA has won both a Gold and Silver Award for their lager beers from the North American Beer Awards Competition held in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Taking the Gold was Chuckanut Dunkel in the Munich Dark category. The Silver award was given to Chuckanut Strong Bock in the Traditional Bock category.

The North American Beer Awards is a unique event sanctioned by the North American Brewers Association and provides an opportunity for beers to be judged by qualified judges against the best beers in the country. Open for less then a year and celebrating their first anniversary on July 18th, Chuckanut Brewery has brewed more than 30 different types of Ales and true Lager Beers. Six beers are on tap at Chuckanut Brewery & Kitchen but the brewery provides beer to accounts around Bellingham, La Conner, Mt Vernon, and the Greater Seattle area. Chuckanut beer is only available in kegs and 'to go' in growlers at the Kitchen.
