On Thursday, April 16th at 8pm, BEER WARS LIVE -- an exclusive one-night only event, will take audiences nationwide inside the billion dollar brewing business and reveal the truth behind the labels of your favorite beer! This special event will take place in more than 430 movie theatres nationwide, including 5 Oregon and 8 Washington theatres.
The evening will kick-off with the premiere of the groundbreaking documentary, “BEER WARS,” by filmmaker Anat Baron -- followed by a LIVE panel discussion (simulcast from Royce Hall in Los Angeles) with independent brewers and beer industry experts, and hosted by pundit, economist and actor Ben Stein.
Beer Wars is a true "David and Goliath story” – small, independent brewers who are shunning the status quo and creating innovative new beers as they challenge the corporate brewery behemoths. The story follows two of these intrepid entrepreneurs – Sam Calagione and Rhonda Kallman – battling the might and tactics of corporate America.
